5 apps you can’t live without
Life 360 – Life 360 is a location sharing application. It utilizes location services from your cell phone to provide your location to the app and any family members associated with your account. The app also offers crash detection, emergency assistance, roadside assistance and phone tracking. I use this app frequently to track where my wife and sons are. This app gives me some peace of mind in knowing where my family is.
Cashapp – Do you ever need to send money to a friend or relative? Or ever need to pay a vendor and they don’t take credit cards? Download the Cashapp app to your cell phone and set up an account. You can link at least one bank account and one credit card to your account. They even offer a Visa debit card which can be used to deduct against your Cashapp balance. Cashapp has become a way of life for many and is used on a daily by many people.
Amazon – Online shopping with same or next day delivery has become a way of life for many across the globe. The biggest online website is Amazon. They offer a program named “Amazon Prime” which is paid for annually and it gives you access to multiple features of the Amazon platform including fast delivery on many items sold on the website. Prime video, Amazon Photos and Amazon Music are a few of the features you get access to when you buy an Amazon Prime membership.
Whatsapp – Texting via cell phone is a common form of communication in this age of technology. One of the more popular apps globally is Whatsapp. The two biggest benefits of the platform are the availability of the app around the globe and the encryption used to keep messages private. A few other benefits include voice calling and high-quality video transmission. Yet another great daily used app.
Google Authenticator – The last app I’ll discuss today is Google authenticator. Multi-factor authentication is one of the best ways to protect your account(s) from hackers. Whenever you can, you should implement a second factor authentication on your account. Google authenticator allows you to add multiple accounts and they all generate 6-digit codes that need to be entered during logon.
These are my five top picks for apps I can’t live without. What are yours?
